Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ finalist, Seyi Awolowo has officially been welcomed on board to the ONE family.
The ONE Campaign is an international, nonpartisan, non-profit, advocacy and campaigning organization that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa, by raising public awareness and pressuring political leaders to support policies and programs that are saving lives and improving futures.
The reality TV star and grandson of Chief Obafemi Awolowo took to his Instagram page to share photos from the event with the caption:
“DREAMS are Valid. Ambassador Duties!!!. Happy to be part of this great organisation @one championing for a great cause and making our mark in the world.”
Recall that the Big Brother housemates made presentations to a panel comprised of ONE Country Director, Serah Makka-Ugbabe and ONE Ambassadors Bisola and Waje about the importance of successfully implementing Huwe in every state in Nigeria.
However, Seyi won the competition and was selected based on the passionate case he made for Huwe implementation in his presentation during the ONE challenge in the reality TV show. Part of the benefits that come with ONE is that the housemate will travel to New York with ONE for the 2020 United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and will join ONE in Nigeria to advocate for healthcare access for Nigerians.
