A Nigerian woman by the name Thelma Chiaka has given birth to Sextuplets under 9 minutes at Women’s hospital of Texas in the United states of America.
Fox News reports that she had two sets of twins boys and one set of twins girls delivered between between 4.50am and 4.59am.
The babies weighed between 1 pound, 12 ounces to 2 pounds, 14 ounces and are in stable condition with the mother also doing well.
The Sextuplets will be receiving treatment at the hospital’s advanced neonatal intensive care unit.
Multiple babies can be a cause for premature birth and lower weight of the infants.
According to the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, babies born “before 32 weeks of pregnancy can die or have severe health problems, even with the best of care.”
The girls have been named Zina and Zuriel as of 10:30 a.m. on Friday, while the names of the boys have not been revealed yet.
