Man threatens to kill everyone on flight over claims that Jesus was black

An Alaska Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Seattle after a passenger went haywire over claims that Jesus was black.

The yet to be identified passenger threatened to kill everybody on board unless they accept that Jesus was a black man.

The unarmed man moves through the cabin of the flight shouting ‘accept it’ and ‘die in the name of Jesus’ multiple times.

According to Alaska Airlines, the flight took off around 11.15 pm from Seattle-Tacoma airport and the incident kicked off 20 minutes in.

“The man became extremely belligerent and physically aggressive during the ascent,” Ray Lane, external communications manager for Alaska Airlines, said in an email.

Video filmed by a passenger shows two other passengers take him down as a flight attendant rushes over with what appears to be zip-ties to restrain his wrists.

A worried woman moves out of her seat before the flight attendant climbs over the chair to get to the suspect.

The plane turned around and landed at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. When police boarded, the man was cooperative, McGraw said. He was booked into the King County jail on suspicion of harassment.

McGraw had no information on the man’s motivation and said police are still investigating.

The flight was canceled and passengers were booked on the next available flights to Chicago.
