COVID-19: Lagos State Begins 7-Days Partial Lockdown

The Lagos State Government has ordered a partial lockdown of all businesses in the state for a 7-days period as measures to contain and avoid the spread of Coronavirus disease.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this known in a speech addressed to the citizens of Lagos state to shut down all businesses, markets, banks, etc., except for the essentials needed for day-to-day survival which include medical equipment stores, groceries stores, etc.

The partial lockdown is said to last for 7-days starting from today Thursday 26th March, till Wednesday, April 2nd 2020.
